ISO 14001 Certification Requirements
To get ISO 14001 certified, your organization should meet the requirements outlined in clause 4 to 10 of the standard.

- Additionally, the organization should document the scope of the environmental management system (EMS). The scope outlines the functions, activities, products and services covered by the EMS.

- Senior Management must also establish, implement and maintain an environmental Policy and objectives.
Top Management shall also ensure the responsibilities and authorities for relevant roles are assigned, communicated and understood within the organisation.
- The organisation is required to determine environmental risks and opportunities and plan actions to address them. Moreover, these risks and opportunities should be maintained as documented information.
- ISO 14001 standard also requires the organization to document environmental aspects, associated environmental impacts and significant environmental aspects.
